This place has a new owner.....Just walking into the place makes you feel good! I think the negative comments should be deleted so the guy has a chance to start fresh. Love some of the local stuff he carries and atmosphere reminds me of some bikeshops I've been to in Europe. This is a small business not owned by some chain, by a guy who obviously is into bikes.... Highly recommend .

I was a little put off with the comments, but went to Veloce anyways because I wanted a bike I could not find anywhere else. There is a new owner and mechanic that ROCK. I would highly recommend checking them out and giving them a chance.

Veloce Bicycles is one of the worst bike shops I've set foot in on the entire coast. I was ignored by the staff after requesting help only to find out (after an excruciatingly long wait) that their woefully inadequate inventory wasn't going to be of use to me on the day. Add in the overwhelming smugness and condescending attitude of the staff, I'm never setting foot in that crummy hole in the wall again. Typical Hawthorne idiocy.
