Located in Portland, Ore., Veritable Quandary is a family-style restaurant that offers a variety of food items. Its menu includes roasted wild mushrooms, Caesar salad, poached eggs, smoked bacon and butter lettuce on crispy cornbread, fresh fettuccine with chicken and sugar snap peas and rabbit pate with toasted brioche. Veritable Quandary provides a range of desserts, including bittersweet chocolate espresso truffles, fresh rhubarb strawberry crisp, tiramisu, caramel banana cream pie and fresh apricot brioche bread pudding. It offers a wine cellar that can be reserved for private dining. Veritable Quandary is located near The Schnitzer and Keller Auditorium. It features a glass-walled dining room that hosts wedding receptions and business meetings. Veritable Quandary also offers a tasting menu that comprises of more than five courses of chef s choice.

Nice atmosphere

An enjoyable experience. Nice place for when you want to actually talk to your lunch partner. Good food, interesting menu. Tables in little alcoves throughout restaurant so can achieve some privacy, if needed.

Brunch is the BEST in PDX

If we're looking for a very special place for Saturday or Sunday breakfast/brunch...this is the place! Lovely location (especially in the summer and early fall), great service, and wonderful NW cuisine and imaginative brunches. I am especially fond of wild mushroom frittata if it's accompanied by mimosa of freshly squeezed orange juice. VQ has been around for years and years and no small wonder...it's really intimate and lovely.

Great meal

Trendy little spot. A little spendy, but the food was very good. Nice atmosphere. Good service.

Best bar & excellent food

Wonderful setting, whether inside or out, for meeting friends after work or before theater. Bar is one of the best in town and food is consistently good.

Lunch can be busy......but worth it! Dinner is always a 10!
