I had my Chevrolet Suburban towed Wentworth Chevrolet after it lost power and stalled. The two truck driver & booth concluded that it looked like the fuel pump failed. Wentworth told me it need a new distributor, the valve covers were leaking and need replacement, leaking intake manifold and bad water pump. All of these things needed to be replaced in order for the car to run. I was charged $3,003.74. One week after picking up the car it failed to start in the driveway. My brother in-law suggested we tap on the gas tank since it sounded like the fuel pump. It started right up. Turns out I needed none of the repairs that were performed by Wentworth. But I do now need a fuel pump. Wasted $3,000 for nothing. When queried, I was told that eventually I would need those maintenance items. I tried to comprise with them and just pay for the parts they installed, but NO they wanted all the money. What they did was just wrong! See you in small claims court.

My wife purchased a used Outback from Wentworth, Immaculately clean, very attractive, but there was a question about mechanical condition. The service manager assured her there was no problem, so on his word she bought it "as is." She didn't get it home before problems started; bad transaxel bearings and a noisy viscous coupling (not detectable unless the car had been driven a while). Called Wentworth, they said to bring it in The service manager drove it, couldn't detect a problem. I had to ride with him and instruct him how to detect a bad viscous coupling; also pointed out the whining bearing which he was reluctant to acknowledge. Salesman Michael Earl went to bat for us, and got us the deal we wanted: they supply the parts ($650), I'll supply the labor. (I've fixed many Subarus, even "totaled" ones) If you need to deal with Wentworth, I'd suggest you work with Michael Earl.

I bought my Subaru Forester from them about 1 1/2 years ago. I was not even LOOKING for a Subaru, but had actually decided on a Toyota RAV 4. Problem was, it was a new styling for that year and they were very hard to come by and I was very particular as to what color, upholstery and accessories I wanted...which they never had on the lots. I had just happened to stop by the Toyota dealership a few blocks down and they weren't open, only had a couple of RAV 4's on the lot, so I left. As I was passing Wentworth, I thought "Why not just stop in and look". By the end of the day I had bought a red-two toned, tan leather interior Forester. I didn't want two toned, didn't want tan interior...but the car had EVERYTHING else I wanted...and it was a Subaru...a name that I trusted, and THOUGHT was way above my price range - turned out it wasn't!######The salesman was wonderful...very nice. Showed me some of the nice things about a Subaru...the rest of the staff was wonderful as well.
