The employees are pretentious and very rude. The place has a horrible odor and disgusting carpet. The rolls fall apart easily. The salmon was good but WAY overpriced! I have eaten sushi all over the country. Two giant thumbs down!

Food is great. The servants are terrible. Being new to the restaurant we asked a few qustions and got several responses "we dont' have that". The servant, a young guy who's hair looked like bird's nest, state "guys, people come here and wait for 2 hours for a table, we have what we have on the menu". When I confronted the servant on his behavior he stated "go ahead complain to the owner, they will simply ignor your complaint".It amazes me that in a recession customers who are parting with money can be treated in this manner. I guess their poope doesn't stink.

This is my husband and my favorite sushi restaurant in Portland. The fish is always fresh and the rice is prepared perfectly. Plus, they have some great spicy mayo!



There is one big downside: the long wait. They do not take reservations, so on weekends the wait can be an hour or longer. There is no room for those waiting, so they send you over to the bar next door and call your phone when a table is available.
