The PT department is tops and the staff in that area is great. Food is good and the facility is clean. Some staff are great, others aren't. They don't answer calls for long periods of time. My mother was in the facility for 8 months before she passed away. My biggest headache was with the person handling billing. I was away for three months and asked her to email me Mom's bill because my mail was being forward which made me get it later that usual. She blocked my emails! I had to get a relative to go there and ask her to unblock my emails. When Mom passed away she didn't answer my phone calls or emails. I had to go to the facility to get her to tell me how much was left in Mom's account and how much I owed. Painful for me. When I went to pick up my Mom's belonging three days after her death I went to her room. No trace of her belongings were there. They had been stuffed in black garbage bags and stuck in a closet. I felt like I was picking up trash. No one called to tell me they would be removing her things. This again was painful. Other than a call to tell me she had passed, I heard nothing else from the facility. Losing someone you love is difficult. The lack of sensitivity and cooperation on the part of the staff
was inexcusable.
