Park View Elementary School, established in 1956 and located in Portsmouth, Va., offers classes in grades kindergarten through five and serves more than 400 students. It offers subjects, such as reading, language, mathematics, social studies, science, art and music, and physical education. Park View Elementary School has a library, and a computer laboratory. The school organizes many activities, such as lunch buddies programs, and garden creating and violin clubs, and has a marching band. Its sports activities include baseball, softball, football, and track and field.
