If you live in Portsmouth, Norfolk, or anywhere in Hapmton Roads and you are looking for a friendly barber this is the place to go first. Regardless of race, this is your place. Although the shop traditionally hosts a lagely African-American clientel, Travis welcomed me (I'm white)into the shop and treated me kindly and fairly. I had no apprehensions that I wouldn't be treated well when I walked in, for as a man of God I judge noone and have faith that I will be treated justly. However, it was very refreshing to see that the racial divisions that have plagued this country for so long do not exist within the walls of Urban Cuts & Styles. We joked around, shared stories, and best of all, I got a great edge-up. If you are looking for a great place for a style, cut, or trim with a Christian atmosphere this is the place for you. I'd give them ten stars by I'm only allowed five. Thanks again for the great cut Travis!
