Provided by YP.comI have dealt with Les Schwab since I got tired of being lied to by Altons back in the late 90s. The service is consistently excellent and I get great quality for the money I spend there. They have never tried to sell me anything I didn't genuinely need. They put my studded tires on and take them back off every year, and fix flats for free.
I believe they have a company policy of treating every customer the same as they would their own mother because once when we were on the Washington coast, towing a huge camping trailer with our Suburban, I noticed a problem with the brakes. I pulled in to Les Schwab over there and they checked the brakes and reassured me that there was nothing that needed immediate attention, again for free. Any other company would have held me up for several hundred dollars.

Provided by YPmobileDO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! We've been going to Les Schwab for years but definitely won't be anymore. My husband bough 4 "basically new" snow tires from their show room yesterday and driving home last night TWO of them popped after hitting a pot hole. Never in my life have I popped a tire from a pot hole...much less 2!! He took the car in this morning hoping they would be able to fix them, but they told him that there was too much damage and since it was the drivers fault, he had to buy new ones. I could understand if we had the tires for a few months, not less than 24 hours. When I went in to get clarification from the manager, Randy, he was fairly rude and kept saying it wasn't tires, it was the driver and he did all he could by giving us a discount on the new ones we had to purchase (all of $75 off, leaving us paying another almost $300). They have some of the most expensive pricing around as well and we NEVER plan on going back!!!!

Provided by YP.comI got my tires switched out from studded snow tires to my all-season tires this Spring and Les Schwab didn't balance my tires. When I drove my car bounced all over the place! I went back and got them to finally balance my tires, but my car was still not driving the way it had. Turns out, now one of my tires is cupping (instead of a donut-shaped tire, it's shaped like an egg). My dealer's recommendation (and I don't think they are just trying to scam me because they don't sell tires at my dealership's service department) is to get 4 new tires. If I don't the one bad tire could be dangerous (I could have a blow-out on the freeway) or the one bad tire will throw off my 3 good tires and I'll end up having to get 4 brand new tires anyway (without the option to salvage my 3 good tires right now).
My opinion of Les Schwab is they try to up their sales even if something is not necessary and they have shoddy workmanship. The employees are very polite, but I want good service too! Ripping me off with a smile is not someplace I want to spend my time or my money!

Provided by YP.comLast year, my wife went to go get her studded tires taken off and her summer tires put on. When they started work, they said her tires were bad and she needed new tires. (1 of the tires was brand new because of a tire blowout 2 years prior)
So they put on 3 new tires (which she didn't really need) and they did such a bad job (the tires aren't "similar enough") that her car is acting up.
So we took it back to the same tire store (Les Schwab in Post Falls) and they said it was the struts. So I was like, what is going on. I talked to my dad about it and he said that the Les Schwab in Moscow is notoriously bad, and rips people off, so I decided to have my wife take her car to the Kia dealership.
They said, the struts were fine, everything was fine EXCEPT that one of her 4 tires was junk because it was a "different size" then the other 3. So now, we have to pay ANOTHER $400 for ANOTHER new set of 4 tires because les schwab couldn't match all the tire sizes last year.
AVOID SCHWAB LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!! You've been warned.
Cliff notes: when replacing 3 of 4 tires, the 3 tires must match the 4th...schwab didn't match them.
Schwab lied about struts being bad because they just wanted more business/money.
