The food was good however we were unable to finish our meal due to a swarm of flies visiting our and other tables
Our waitress was no help

The food was mediocre & the service was less than price of the meal. The white wine and butter sauce was not properly rendered at a high enough tempature to evaporate the alcohol and leave more flavor. Over abundance of red pepper flakes over powered any garlic or other italion seasonings. The shrimp scallops clams had no taste only texture due to the pepper flakes. They charged you for every scrap of bread to soak up the excess liquid. At least the pepper flakes leaned out my sinuses. I give 3 1/2 stars. I seated myself at the bar. Maybe that's way the service was less than steller.

I love the menu and atmosphere at The Whitehouse. If you enjoy garlic you have got to try them out. Such a fun place, great staff and if you really want amazing food and wine coupled with entertainment...stop in on Thursdays and fall in to the Mediterranean feel with the music and Belly Dancers!!!

I wish I had read some of the reviews before trying this place out. I cannot believe how terrible the service was at this place! I work in the food industry, so I am well aware of what great service looks like, and this has to be one of the worst places I've been in a long while!

My husband and I wanted to try someplace new, so we drove from Spokane for a nice dinner. Well, we should have stayed in Spokane, because it was not worth the drive or the wait! When we got to the restaurant, we were not even greeted by any hostess even though there were several around. We had never been there before, so we were unsure if we were suppose to seat ourselves or wait. We stood around for a while and finally WE had to ask if we could be put on the list. Not a great first impression! Sadly, we ended up waiting 2 hours before getting seated! After the first hour of waiting, I asked where we were on the waiting list, and they told us it would only be another fifteen minutes, so we decided to wait. Well, another half hour went by and we talked to them again, and they said "oh only another few minutes." We ended up waiting another half hour before being seated!!

During this whole time, I should mention that the music was EXTREMELY loud. So loud, it was to the point where you literally could not hear even the person sitting next to you talk. I like loud music, but this was ridiculously loud!! Even after we were seated, the people next to us asked if the music could be turned down, because it had gotten exponentially LOUDER, and the server refused, saying that the owner came in and turned the music up, because he likes the music loud. To the owner---If you want returning customers that are happy, turn down the music...is it really too much to ask!!??!! I don't think you understand the concept of putting your customers first.

During our dining experience, the service was terrible...I mean, terrible. Our server was rude and annoyed. We sat down and she barely even greeted us or asked how our evening was going. It took her a long time just to bring us water. When I pointed out that my water glass had chunks of food crusted on the inside and would like a clean glass, she rolled her eyes and acted like it was just too much of me to ask! Seriously, what kind of service is this?!? When our food was finally brought out, our server never asked us if we were happy with our meal or if we needed anything else. She never once returned to our table to ask how the food tasted. We never saw her again until she brought us the check. Our food was hastily prepared, and our dishes were quite small for the price we paid.

Usually my husband and I are very generous with our tips since I work in the food industry and we know far too well that there are many people involved in the making and serving of one meal. But when we thought about it, everyone involved in our dining experience provided poor service. The hostesses did not do their job, our server was rude, and the food was hastily prepared. We did not tip above the 20% we normally tip, because it was not earned at this restaurant. We will not be returning. Most people remember their best dining experiences and their worst dining experiences. This was definitely one of the worst. I will not be recommending this restaurant. In fact, I have already told countless people about our terrible experience and many that I have talked to actually had similar stories. If you have never tried this restaurant, don't waste your time or money. It's not worth it.

This is truly my favorite place to eat! From the first meal I have eaten there I knew I would return over and over again.Unless you have reservations you will wait awhile, but once you have the first taste of any of the food it will be worth the wait. I cannot tell you the numerous friends that have joined me to also call this there favorite place to eat. I have wonderful young adults that insist this is the present that they would like for their birthday............dinner at the White House. If you give it a try you will not be disappointed! Great service, and always absolutely amazing food!

My husband and I have eaten here several times and are never disappointed. Food, service and atmosphere are just great. One small caviat...dress warmly. They do keep the building a bit on the too cool side.
