I move to Northern N.Y. in 2005. I jumped from stylist to stylist throughout the area without ever being satisfied with the cuts I was given, nor the color and highlights. So, when I called Shear Creations to make an appointment I really didn't expect much satisfaction, but I was hoping, as I always did, to at least look half way decent. Well, I received much more than that. I was given an appointment with Heather, who gave me the most incredible cut and worked with me to choose a color and highlight that made me look 10 years younger. If you're looking for a very stylish cut and want someone to work, and most importantly, listen to you, I would highly recommend Heather at Shear Creations. 5 Stars!

I was looking for a new stylist and was really nervous about trying somewhere new. When I was sat in a Dr's office I noticed that the receptionist had an excellent hairstyle and I asked her which salon she had been to.



She recommended Shear Creations and so I gave them a call. Whoever answered happened to be polite and curteous and was able to find me an appointment for that morning. Upon arrival, Jackie introduced herself and discussed in full detail what it was I wanted done with my hair. We gathered some books, and talked about color. Nothing was missed, and I was further impressed when she informed me that she'd teach me the correct way to style my hair so that I'd be able to do it on my own.



My 4 year old daughters accompanied me on this visit and all the staff were very accomodating to them. The salon is very family friendly, with a blackboard and small table/chairs for the children. They also had a place for me to change my son's diaper half way through the appointment!



The new style was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for better, and it really fit my personality. I have recommended this Salon to anyone who asks.
