Needed Mike to diagnose a Thermador cooktop ventilator. On/off selection stopped working for blower, but raise and lower did work. Mike methodically checked each component until he determined the cause. I ordered the part thru eBay the same day, received it 2 days later and installed it myself. His rates were good, and he was in and out in about 1 hour. And he arrived within the time frame he quoted. Yes, he has his own style, but I have worked with many styles over the years.

Had a warranty thru lowes and when he called he said he could come out cause his paperwork didn't reflect that. When I finally got him to come out he was a smug jerk and asked me to find the part online. When we found the part for my dryer (which would be in the next day)he said it would he couldn't order it cause it cost too much money so he would have to get it somewhere else 7-10 days. I never heard of a repair guy telling the homeowner to look for the part online. Needless to say I kicked him out of my house cause he started arguing with me if I could give them less than 1 star I would. After doing research I read all the bad reviews online where 7-10 days turns into 7-10 weeks. P.S. golas appliance is not accredited by the better business borough. DO NOT USE YOU ARE BEING WARNED!!!!!!!

I would never ever recommend Golas repair to anyone! Came out to look at my Samsung dryer on January 5th and told me the part would take a week. Well after a week and not hearing anything I called. He never returned any of my phone calls. Lowes called because the appliance is under warranty and he keeps telling them the same thing....the part should be in any day. I will call to schedule when I get it. It's been over a month. The part is in Stock and I come to find out this moron never ordered the part! He's a liar and shouldn't be in business! Don't waste your time on this incompetent and unprofessional repair place. Go somewhere else!

Took care of our icemaker quickly and saved us money in the process. Definately recommend GOLAS. Thank you!!

called sears for service and they replaced parts on my washer and charged me over 200 dollars and it was still broken.so I called golas appliance they came out the next day and fixed it with no parts and only charged me a small house call I was so happy and thankfull to have my washer back running I would highly use them again for my next repair

Asked for service for my refrigerator and was rewarded with smug, arrogant and condescending behavior. I rather buy a new refrigerator than give these guys my business.
