It was a late night at work for me and my husband and I were in desperate need of decent Chinese takeout. We are right down the road from Hong Kong Wok but had never tried it. I was coming from the PA Turnpike and knew I'd make it just when they were about to close, so I called first to check if it was ok. They were so nice and stayed open a 1/2 hour later just to accomodate our takeout order. When I arrived the family who own the restaurant were very friendly and packed up our order neatly as soon as it came sizzling hot off the wok. They even gave us some homemade iced tea to take home and try! We got the typical Chinese takeout picks- Chicken with Broccoli, Pork Friend Rice, Vegetable Lo Mein, Dumplings and soups. Everything was delicious, and I'm not sure, but I kind of think the dumplings and lo mein were homemade. If they weren't made there, they were very fresh. Everything was piping hot and really yummy. We will definitely return!!
