This business may have been friendly and professional in the past, but I can assure you they are not that way any longer. If you like being lied to, belittled, and not getting what you ask for, Sasha's is the place for you! No other grooming place had availability except for Sasha's, and now I know why. I called for an appointment for my short-haired dog, explained exactly what type of dog he was (breed, hair type, age, weight), and asked that he have a bath and a haircut because he has been shedding like crazy. The woman went to talk to her male partner who grooms the dogs, and said she would call me back. After speaking with him, she calls me back and tells me that everything sounds great and the appointment is confirmed. I had a very tight schedule that day, so I had someone I know very well meet me there with my dog. Since he got there early, the male groomer came out and welcomed him inside, and began the grooming process without me being there yet. (Also, I made it there just before the scheduled appointment time) When I got there, my dog had already been given a bath and was being blown dry. I mentioned that he also needed a haircut, which then resulted in the groomer laughing in my face and saying phrases such as: "I'm not cutting his hair," "Ya don't cut the hair of a dog like this," and "Why don't ya look it up" repeatedly with a snarky attitude. I did not argue, but was rather surprised and confused. He had been beautifully groomed by professionals before. As he continued to be blown dry, my dog continued to shed all over the table, which is exactly what I was hoping to manage. He said I could brush the dog, but I needed a special brush that he did not sell. (Also didn't tell me the type of brush) I reluctantly kept my composure, paid for his service, and left feeling belittled and shocked. Also, I paid almost $25 for a simple bath of a dog who weighs less than 5 pounds. I have paid $20 at other professional groomers, such as Fuzzy Buddies who cut his hair, gave him a bath, cut his nails, sprayed him with a touch of doggy perfume, and finished it off with a bandana scarf. Being there confirmed my suspicions that they did not advise me of any of this on the phone because they simply needed the business. Please save yourselves and your dogs from this joke of a groomer!
