Provided by YP.comTold my wife they would not do virus removal because their "three programs" still let things through. Will not use them as other places, Vertigo, Whitehat and Staples all quoted virus removal prices and not just reinstall.

Provided by YP.comOur business server crashed at the start of business. Multiple business locations run off the server. Calls were placed to corporate IT support. They would not be able to have us functional before the end of day! I reached out to a local business, Tom's Computer Repair. Tom showed up within 30 minutes. He removed our server and took it to his store. He diagnosed our problem as a new 2012 virus. He advised me that our quickest option to be up and running was to copy our operating system and files and load them onto a new server. In two hours I had a fully functional server back in my store. When my "highly paid" corporate IT finally showed they agreed with Tom's assessment of the problem and his course of action. I purchased the server Tom created for me, even though he offered to "loan it to me" until my computers were fixed.
I cannot imagine receiving better service from any "Big Box" corporate computer firms. Tom's final charge (for a server and an emergency site visit) was very reasonable. I will use Tom again for my computer purchase/repair needs.

Provided by YP.comCalled to get a price on data recovery. Told them i needed 1-10GB of data possibly recovered from a functional drive. Only problem was partition was deleted.
Their response to me asking for the price. "Well your getting up there in the gigs..." My reply was that it is only 1-10GB, not like i'm asking for a 500GB or 1TB drive to be fully recovered" Their reply to that was "well the best thing i can tell you is to call someone else" followed by them hanging up on me.
Their product prices are also terrible. $179 for a processor you can get anywhere else for under $100$ excluding the internet where you can get it for $60.
Please note This person was not nice on phone. My price to recover 10GB is more money then 1GB. If they can't tell me the right GB then how do I quote a correct price? Next there never was a processor in my shop with a $169.00 price tag. Thats just a down right not true. The truth is I have serviced over 6000 customers and have stepped up to the plate many times for the olderly and disable. Out of 6000 happy customers that send there friends and family members to Toms Computer Repair, none of them have put anything on enthernet. Anyway, Thanks for reading my responce and if you want good honest work done to your computer, call or stop by if just to say hello. If you want to know something about Toms Computer Repair ask your friends and family. You can trust them to tell the truth. At your service, Tom
