COUPLES COUNSELING: I received my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. I then trained for over 2 years at the Marriage Recovery Center learning specialized skills for working with couples in crisis. I enjoy working with couples to improve communication and create a safe and loving connection. Some of the issues I address are: - poor communication - co-dependency and abuse - parenting conflicts - addiction - affairs - intimacy problems - grief and loss - poor boundaries - mental illness in the family INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING: I always appreciate joining someone on their journey of personal growth for repair. I have the utmost respect for people who continue to work towards a better quality of life. Whether your work is difficult and painful or simply challenging, I would be honored to help you along your path. Some of the areas I cover in personal counseling are: - abuse and trauma - co-dependency - depression and anxiety - PTSD - relationships - grief and loss - spiritual issues - self sabotaging behavior - work performance COACHING: Many problems that a person or a couple would enter counseling for can be addressed through coaching. Areas that are well suited for coaching are: - communication difficulties - breaking dysfunctional patterns/habits - parenting issues - low motivation - goal setting and achievement - personal growth Coaching can be an excellent option for those who need help but cannot find it locally or live in a small town and want anonymity. I offer distance or local coaching by Skype, Face Time or by phone.
