Austell Intermediate School is a public institution that provides educational classes to students in grades two through five. It has a parent-teacher association that conducts meetings and sponsors a range of educational and social programs that compliments the classroom curriculum. The school provides classes in computer applications, music, science, art, reading, writing, social studies, health, physical education and basic skills. It operates a guidance department that monitors the students' progress in their classes and assists them in meeting academic goals. In addition, the school provides food, transportation and medical services to students. Austell Intermediate School is a part of the Cobb County School District and is located in Powder Springs, Ga.
