Gestalt Studios at The Polar Plant opened in October of 2015. Located at 440 West Park Street in Powell WY, Gestalt has a wide variety of high quality art supplies for sale, workshops and artistic activities, hosts parties, and has a full service Coffee Room. All of this encased in a cozy, welcoming environment and topped off with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. We want to encourage artists and non artists alike to gather and share knowledge, experiment and be inspired. We think a great cup of coffee and a snack will help that process! 440 West Park Street | Powell, Wyoming Art is intrinsic to the human psyche. Even as children, human beings feel motivated to create. Art is universal and provides a means of communicating thoughts and feelings that we might otherwise not know how to express. That expression can take place within a myriad of pathways including, but not exclusive to, body language, music, dance and art. Art is a very therapeutic activity. It provides not only an outlet for emotions but also engages the mind and promotes critical thinking. It also captures our stories and serves as a means of documenting history. Finally, and often times most powerfully, it brings people together to share an experience. Our mission is to support and encourage artistic experimentation, expression, growth and collaboration in our community.
