Powell High School conducts classes for students in grades 9 through 12. Located in Powell, Wyo., the school offers instruction in music, English, history, foreign languages, math, science, art, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, Powell High School offers various sports activities, including basketball, baseball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, softball, football, wrestling and volleyball. The school also provides a variety of vocational courses, including carpentry, welding, building trades, culinary arts and television production. Powell High School operates a guidance counseling department that provides a comprehensive counseling program for all students. The school is a part of Park County School District 16.
