Saw their ad for "kiln dried hardwood firewood",called and got info and was told it was cherry and oak and was kiln dried ready to burn wood.When I drove over an hour to get there and finally found someone to help me,he started to load my pick-up loosely with very small pieces of wood,bark,slivers and other unusable junk I stopped him and asked to load my own wood.I was told a loose fill pick-up to top rail of bed was half a chord,so I loaded it that far with small to moderate small pieces (the only size they make) and paid $200.00 for that.When I got home I threw a few pieces into our wood burner on top of a moderate fire and coals and closed it up,about 20 minutes later as I walked by the burner I heard a sizzling sound and opened burner only to find the wood was not burning,only boiling out the moisture.I got my wood moisture meter and started checking load of firewood only to find it contained over 35% moisture (should be 12 to 15%).The next day I called Green thumb and told them the problem and they told me to return load the next week and they would replace it with fresh dry load.Long story short they kept putting me off about dry wood being available.After more phone calls they said they would send me a refund,NEVER HAPPENED !When I finally drove all the way back to farm 3 weeks later all I got was loud argument and telling me to sue them.They seem to avoid all bad reviews on social media,only wanting good reviews for horrible service.Never going back,having our attorney handle this matter.

Will not be going to Green Thumb Farms again. First of all, I called to ask a couple of questions because the website has very limited info. to say the least, and the woman who answered said "Hello", umm, if you're a business you should probably consider answering as a business. We also took the hayride to the pumpkin patch and the driver of the wagon didn't say a word to the people on the wagon, took us to a patch of ROTTEN pumpkins, rushed everyone back on the wagon and again didn't say a word to anyone. When I went to pay for my pumpkins (which should be included in the price of admission, by the way) I realized that my small one was so light because it was ROTTEN. We have always went to the Treinen Farm and always have a wonderful time, thought we'd give Green Thumb a try since it's closer, but I was very disappointed. I don't think that we'll ever go here again.



P.S., they only let you post on their Facebook page if you have something good to say, I posted this review twice and they removed it twice and blocked me from making a comment. I guess that's why there's so few comments.
