Cornerstone exists to glorify God and make followers of Jesus. Our strategy comes from Jesus Christ, the "Head" of Cornerstone. In His Word, Christ gives 4 basic commands for churches. At Cornerstone, we call them the 4 Corners: Rescue, Transform, Love and Serve. These are God's measures of a healthy church, and so they're our measures, too Rescue. Jesus said to "Go into all the world" and share the great news of salvation. We take this seriously, beginning here in Prescott and reaching beyond through the rescuers (missionaries) we send to other nations. We invite you to be rescued, and to join the rescue. Matt 28:18-20 Transform. God empowers us to become like Christ. He actually changes our thoughts and choices as we renew our minds in Scripture and walk in the Spirit. This transformation takes place in relationship with other believers. We want to help you transform and grow in Christ. 2 Peter 1:3-5, Rom 12:1,2, Gal 5:16, 1 Thess 5:11

Amazing teacher, amazing director, wonderful place for a child to grow. Parents are active supporters and staff loves your kid like their own. Naps are not required for the older kids and contributing to snacks costs me less than $10 and it's our turn about once a quarter. I'm happy to help those who do an awesome job of providing a safe place for my child to learn and grow in a foundation of good moral character.

The issue with Cornerstone Pre School is that they do not have any teachers to care for non nappers, after 12:00. Every single child after 12:00 is required to nap. They make even Pre K children nap or sit there and not make any noise with the lights out, for 2.5 hours, which I conceive to be cruel. It's highly difficult for a child of that age to sit still for such a long period of time. For a 2 year old, this is a wonderful thing, 2 year olds need long naps, however, to make a 4 year old sit and not make any noise (which most children by the age of 4, do not nap) is concerning.

Another issue is that they require you to bring a snack once a month for the entire school that consists of juice and fruit/yogurt etc. This snack once a month, can run you around $100. I think the child's tuition should cover snacks or at least not for the whole school. I don't have a problem brining snacks for my children's individual classes of 6-12 kids once a month but for the entire school of 60 plus kids is extreme.
