Grandma LaMure s Spice 'n Slice sold its first product in 1978. Grandma LaMure s products are packaged seasoning mixes to flavor ground beef, pork, poultry or game meat. They eliminate the need for casings or stuffers to create products such as jerky, salami, summer sausage bologna, country style and southern style sausage. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Centers for Habilitation, a private, nonprofit corporation whose mission is to offer a continuum of services directed toward the support, care and empowerment of people of all ages with developmental or physical disabilities. TCH services are directed toward improving the quality of life for those individuals by alleviating barriers to their independence and striving to help them reach their full potential.
