Hassayampa Canine Resort came highly recommended to me by another extremely satisfied patron! I had just had a terrible experience boarding my (sometimes hard to deal with) Queensland at a different location. We were contacted on our trip & asked to come home because our dog was not cooperating.



From the first phone call with Marcia, I knew that Hassayampa was unlike any place out there! Several of my dogs spent days, overnights & more than a week at the resort. Each experience was unparalleled with genuine love & care for my dogs, professional staff (really incredible!). I always had a feeling like each animal was treated as a unique individual and not just treated as a "batch." I cannot say enough about the peace we had knowing our dogs were in the amazing hands of care at Hassayampa. I was blown away at a follow-up phone call even assuring me that all was well! Extra benefit: she always smelled so wonderful as she also got a quick brush & spray of something yummyl!!!!Can't say enough good things for Hassayampa! We have recently moved & truly one of the biggest stressors has been the reality of trying to find a wonderful family like we had at Hassaympa to love on my dogs when we are away!

I never dreamt that I would find a team to care/love my dogs so much that I feel I am giving them a special treat by taking them here. I agree totally with the person that posted "Hassayampa Canine Resort and Spa gets 20 stars." Our dogs are very special family members and we would never kennel our dogs. Hassayampa Canine Resort and Spa is not a kennel. It is truly like going for a spa day to your dog. You can be 100% positive your dog is being spoiled during their stay here.



And they come home so relaxed and happy that you will feel relaxed going on your people-only vacations. I recommend frequent Doggy Play Days, the Active Dog package or Field Hike and a massage by Ron during their stay. I want to thank (and hug) the entire team at Hassayampa Canine Resort and Spa for the love and care they give daily. I am blessed to have them in my and our dog’s life!

Well there must be some mistake, there are only 5 stars & I'm looking for 10! We made our first visit for a tour, to case the place...exceeded every expectation I could anticipate. Upon walking in there was no smell of dogs, my house should smell so good & be so clean, read the brochure folks, you'll be surprised @ what lengths the resort has gone to for our fur balls. Every question we had we were given an answer & more information than we needed, they are so dedicated & genuine. Ok, so today we had a play day with our 3 dogs, a 14 1/2 yr. old poodle with too many medical issues to mention, a 8 or 9 yr. Chi that we rescued, she had spent her entire life in a crate producing puppies, needless to say she never lived in a home & is very timid, & a 14 month Lab that is in training for search & rescue here in Prescott. To say the least, I was skeptical because I brought all of their problems & hoped for the best. I got exactly that, Marcia, Jim & the entire staff are the most knowledgeable & loving people & it shows! When we picked all 3 up, we got a full report on each one. Marcia spent well over an hour helping us with problems we created, going over diets (even looking @ the ingredients on a bag of food we just purchased & telling us what to look for in the future for the health of our dogs). I feel blessed to have found the resort. Our dogs are happy, not stressed, contented & seem like they had a wonderful day. My only question is if they can book my husband & I for a relaxing stay!!!

So do I! The personal service and attention to detail of the staff makes it such a pleasure to bring our Scottish terrier here for doggie day care or for overnights. Even before we drive up to the building, he knows where he is going. A great, secure place for play-dates for your pup. Thank you, Hassayampa Canine Staff!

There are not enough great words in the dictionary to use to describe how wonderful the Hassayampa Canine Resort treats their guests. To be able to leave our fur kids where we know they are safe, loved and well cared for is priceless. The facility is spotless, the care is amazing and EVERYONE is friendly, knowledgeable and worth their weight in gold. Marcia and Jim are never too busy to answer questions and treat each dog as they would their own. We LOVE Hassayampa Canine Resort.

Barney & Buffy have been going to Hassayampa Canine Resort for several years. They love it! They get to play with other dogs, enjoy the fresh outdoor air and get loving attention from Marcia, Jim and staff. We love our pets and always want what's best for them. We never worry about B&B when we're out of town. We know they are being cared for in the best possible way. The way we know that B&B love Hassayampa is because they sleep so soundly the first night they are back. True professionals who care about pets. We would be lost without them being in our community. Great place, very knowledgeable people, by far the best place I have ever seen to keep my dog when I'm gone. I know he will get the best care and absolute impeccable treatment. Marcia and Jim are obviously very experienced and did a follow on how our "trial run" went. Truly professional and unlike anything I have ever experienced in dog boarding/daycare. I hope my dog still wants to come home with me!!

These people are wonderful. It's the first time my dogs came out happier and healthier than when I dropped them off. I got regular calls letting me know how Rocky and Lily were doing, all of it positive. Considering Lily is a 14 year-old, deaf shih tzu, and Rocky is a shepherd mix who spent the first 4 months of his life in the ASPCA, I expected them to have a difficult time adjusting. Usually, I hire a friend to stay in my house with them while I'm gone, but she was unavailable. It was with a heavy heart that I decided to board them. They had a wonderful time. I could tell--this is the truth--they were happier there than any place, including home, where, by the way, they are treated like the treasures they are. Maybe it was the wisely-directed playtime or just the general feel of the place--you walk in and you know you're in the best hands. If I had the money, I'd drop them off there every day. It was like Heaven's Dog Park, minus the fleas, the aggression and the dirt. You can trust

Very caring and knowledgable staff. I know when our dogs are here they are well cared for in an impecable and safe environment. Their service and standards are exceptional. We would not bring our dogs anywhere else!

This was the best experience my little Yorkie has ever had. He was so relaxed when I picked him up and looked great! I think the groomer put him under a spell!!! She has magic hands.
