Poor Service and charges

Mingus Maintenance, who is owned by Pierce Property Management Inc. and Pierce Asset Management Inc., alleged unnecessary repairs at a rental property located at 6164 Antelope Villas #133, Prescott AZ. They also attempted to bill me for their possible illegal use of electricity to me. Their bill was in error and over inflated. They did not properly itemize the alleged repairs made. They failed to take a police report for the theft of property that occured after I vacated the premises and attempted to bill me for it. They wrote mere estimates for a $400 dollar cleaning bill without itemization and a $100 usage of utilities not under their name. This possible gross act of negligence and rude employees failing to settle in good faith was insulting and inappropriate.

Do NOT rent from Pierce unless you don't care about getting your security deposit back!

As you may made read in all the reviews, this "business" is far from ethical. For starters, when we moved into our house there was trash in the rooms and garage (i.e. condoms, car batteries, posters, etc.). Also, just walking down the hallway our feet would turn black. we asked them if the were ever cleaned and they did not know...we asked if they could steam clean them but no... They seem fine at first but where it gets really bad is move out time. I gave them a written letter 30 days in advance to schedule a pre walk through, called them twice and the never called back. When our house we back on the market they gave my cell phone number out along with my address, and I am a 21 female, so not cool. I had to call them twice to ask them to stop. It was an invasion of my privacy and safety. We just received our security deposit back day 14 out of 14, and they decided to keep half of it. They charged us ridiculous amounts for things that were already clean. The charged us $150 for painting a door jam, $162 to weed wak about 5 feet of weeds (when the rest of the yard was already done and it sat on 1/2 acre), and $126 just to re-vacuum and re-wipe counters. So...to say the least I am not happy with them. Please don't even look at their houses, it was a worst case scenario for us. If I were to do it again I would have gone homeless for a couple of days and signed a lease with decent people.

Pierce Peoperty Mgt

Pierce Property Mngt. sent workmen to see about complaints on quality, buit the main problems were not fixed until I had given 30 day notice.They will also charge ANY assessment they can and keep as much of your deposit as possible.

Never Again

May I join the others who have reviewed and tell you DO NOT rent from Pierce Property. I understand that they are trying to keep the house clean and in good repair for the next person but what they did is ridiculous! First, we filled out the move-in form very meticulously, making note of everything we saw. Our mistake was not taking pictures of EVERYTHING! #1 lesson learned. No matter where you rent take pictures of EVERYTHING regardless of finding anything wrong or not. You'll regret it later if you don't. They NEVER got back to us when we left messages about repairs that needed to be done or if we have questions at all. If you have to leave a message plan on calling them back yourself cause they won't bother. Upon move out we cleaned the house including dusting the fans and blinds, sweeping and mopping, vacuuming, wiping down the counters and shelves etc. I know how to clean I'm an army brat who lived on base and their inspections include the white glove test.
