I was scalped by a girl who isn't even trained by Aveda. I asked her to cut off 1/2 an inch and she cut off 4 inches. Now I don't ever want to go anywhere it looks so bad and she dyed my hair black. She blamed me by saying that I was looking at short haircut books so I wanted her to scalp me. She was nice until then. I saw her numerous times but now she is fired from touching my hair. It's a shame when someone is hired who does not know what they are doing.

I have been to this salon twice with two different hair sylist and both did a very good job. My hair was nicely cut and the hair color by Aveda stood up very well and was also very well done. Unlike some salons this one didn't have the harsh chemical smell that most hair salons have. This is important to me as I have asthma and am sensitive to chemicals and cats. It was clean and the staff friendly. This was about a 6 weeks ago and I now have another appt. to have my hair done again. so things must have changed since that last review of 2008.

I have never received such an awful haircut - I really think the girl didn't like me for some reason. The owner is very sweet - too bad she has such poor help - her business will never grow. So, if you live in Prescott and need a haircut - cut your own hair before visiting this place.
