Located in Prescott, Wis., Prescott Area Community Education is a part of the Prescott School District. It organizes trips, hobby classes, games exercise programs for people of all ages. It offers Mat Pilates, a program where students are taught coordination and how to use their bodies with exercises performed on a mat. It also offers water exercise, a program that helps in developing muscle tone while increasing stamina. It conducts fencing classes for adults and children. Prescott Area Community Education operates a senior s club that offers various card and board games. It offers a course in money management that focuses on the basic areas of financial management. In addition, it offers courses in digital photography and wood carving. Prescott Area Community Education also offers a program, Schoolhouse Chess, which focuses on the introduction of chess pieces, setup and basic rules, including checking, castling and material value.
