Provided by YP.comBe prepared to sit on hold and be prepared to get transferred 16 times. Within the last 8 months I have dealt with Windstream on my personal home phone issues as well as for the company I work for, and my experiences have been incredibly frustrating. From the get-go, their automated menu options are very unclear, and use terminology that the average caller would not understand unless they had worked for a phone company themselves. And so after several minutes of pressing buttons and sitting on hold, you eventually end up in a completely different department than where you need to be. Then begins the loop of department transfers. I just hung up with them after a 13+ minute phone call during which time I was transferred 4 times and put on hold for at least 9 of those 13 minutes. And all of this might be forgiven had even one person I spoke to been the slightest bit apologetic or helpful. Not the case. If you have ANY other options for a local phone company, consider any of them before going with this company.
