Dr. Abbasi is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship trained in interventional pain management. He began his distinguished career in Internal Medicine in Nassau County Medical Center. From there he moved on to do a Residency at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his pain fellowship training at the Portner Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center in Honolulu, Hawaii... Dr. Abbasi is member of: * American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPMR) * North American Spine Society (NASS) * Physiatrist Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation (PASSOR) * 15 yrs. experience Dr. Elkholy started his residency a Brooklyn/New York University hospital 1992. He completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1993-1996. He did pain management fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine 1996-1997. He became an assistant professor at Yale University School of Medicine teaching residents and fellows 1997-2000 pain management, anesthesia, and acupuncture.
