We applied for a rental the end March and were 3rd in line. The end of April Jason called, said we were at the top of the list and did we still want him to run our app. I agreed as we had been waiting a month and were ready to move to a larger home. On May 3rd we were notified we were approved; we were told they could only hold the rental for 7 days. We chose to pay the deposits of $2300 ($800 for two indoor cats), and the rent for the new home as well as rent at the apartment we were moving out of. When we first applied, and throughout the rental agreement process Jason mentioned the owner may be selling the duplex; he also said on more than one occasion that IF it sold we would have 90 days to move.

Less than a month after renting, potential buyers began viewing the property, it sold in less than 30 days. On July 24th we were given a 30 day notice to vacate.

After moving in we had problems with the electrical and then the sewer. On 8/1/19 I sent a repair request for the freezer in the fridge that had stopped working. They sent a repair tech out on 8/2/19 - the technician informed us the complete unit would need to be replaced. As of 8/12/19 we are still without a working refrigerator.

On July 12th the city turned off our water due to a lack of communication between Wild West, the old owner, and the new owner. We have had nothing but problems since renting through Wild West Property Management in Prineville, OR. I highly recommend you DO NOT rent through this company.
