Not only did I need the basement floor drain pipe cleaned out (because the water from the washing machine slightly backs up onto the floor) but I also needed the service man's advise as to how to deal with waste pipe in the basement floor that has lost it's minimum 4% pitch. He was very thoughtful about providing me with the options and estimates from capping off the floor drain (since we have two) to jack hammering and excavating the area in order to install a new pipe and floor drain. He did a good job and provided the information that we needed to decide what our next move will be. Nice to have someone stop by who had experience, patience, and knowledge about the situation. His replacement estimate was probably the clincher. For now we will just deal with cleaning out the drain every few years and we will call Hopke Sewer and Drain Co. to do the job again.

I called Jake last Thursday (2/19/2009) to ask if he could send someone out to fix my garbage disposal. Jake suggested that before they send someone out that I try a few things myself to resolve the problem and to avoid having to send someone out...Not that they didn't want to come out, but that maybe they didn't have to.



When I got home from work, I tried the things that Jake suggested, and I was able to fix the problem by myself...I was able to avoid the service call and resolve the issue without having to spend a dime...With the economy as it is, I really did appreciate the suggestion on how to fix it myself without having to have someone come out.



I made sure to call Jake and thank him, I also talked to Jake's superviser Chuck who said that their website has suggestions for "do it yourself fixes" on their website.



I will use Hopke Sewer and Drain and will also recommend it to any of my friends who ask who I use!

I was ready for a new water softener & am very picky when making a purchase. I phoned several plumbing contractors and was unable to get an honest quote over the phone along with a time frame to expect the work to be done. In addition, I was often speaking with an answering service that said they'd "be happy to send someone out". I wanted to talk with someone who had years of hands on experience. Hopke thouroughly explained the difference between several water softeners along with exact prices. After a 10 minute conversation, it was obvious he knew exactly what he was talking about and was able to work with my work schedule. I have not had to touch my softener in months and was extremely impressed with the professionalism and customer service Hopke provided. I will recommend them to all family and friends!

We had had an appointment set with Roto Rooter to come clear our sewer line. When they were over 4 hours late, we called Hopke. We called in the early afternoon of Easter weekend. I didn't really think they could get anyone there on such short notice, but I was pleasantly surprised. He had someone finishing a job south of us, and would stop by on his way to another job north of us. Lance showed up in less than an hour!



He did a great job. He cleaned the main line, checked the line from the house to the main line, and cleaned up after himself! And he was done in about an hour. He was very courteous and had at least 2 other jobs to finish after us!!



Bless him and bless Hopke for getting somone there on such short notice. We were expecting family for Easter, and it would have been sad to cancel because we couldn't get the work done!



I would recommend Hopke to anyone without hesitating for a second.

They were very friendly and helpful when we called at 11 O'clock at night. I called the next morning and they were here in less than 2 hours. Very friendly and personable plumber came out and took care of the problem. I would recommend these guys to anyone having plumbing issues. Reasonable rates also. Thanks alot guys.

We called Hopke in the morning and our problem was solved later that afternoon. Their service was completed as promised within the time window. Their guy was polite and respectful. When he saw my "Army Airborne" hat he gave me the Veteran's discount. I highly recomend Hopke to anyone needing their drain serviced. Very professional, price was fair.

Called on Sat and came out same day to fix my problem. Very happy with service.
