The Prior Lake Maintenance Center is a part of the Public Works Department. The Public Works Department has an engineering Division that works with new development and street and utility reconstruction projects, as well as provides record drawing, erosion control, construction observation, water resources management, and driveway, fertilizer and right-of-way permit solution. The department s maintenance division is responsible for the maintenance, repair and construction of infrastructure, including streets, sidewalks, parks, and water and sewer utilities. The maintenance division also works to offer hydrant flushing, watering regulation, snow plowing, street sweeping and new well construction solutions. The Public Works Department is governed by the City of Prior Lake in Minnesota.
