I hate to write a negative review, especially for a place that I shop at, but I got 80 cents each for nice items that I left there on consignment. They also (allegedly) sold a 3-piece cocktail suit for $15 based on my 45% take. I really, really dislike accusing people of underhandedness, but either their accounting system is way off or they're selling things under some circumstances for far less than the marked price.

I am so glad to read that other people have experienced the same level of rudeness and disrespect by the owner of this store - I thought it was something I was doing! I have never consigned with them but my mom has and has lots of complaints about them. I stopped shopping here because it wasn't worth my time to be lectured - plus their selection is really not quality trendy stuff but overused overpriced

A friend of mine brought me to this shop that happend to specialize in plus size's just like one I was fond of in Waterbury, I was thrilled to think that Goddess has opened a franchise location in Prospect, when I arrived I asked the shop keeper if Goddess was affiliated the owner more less yelled at me and told me that they were NOT associated and they served to a "different" clientel. At first I thought she ment they served to senior citizens by all the antique styles displayed across the garage sized shop. Than I realized later that she was insulting me by saying I wasn't from prospect therefore I must have been trash! btw I'm from Woodbridge. I now go where I know I'm wanted and Goddess is where I belong!! The people are wonderful and the clothes are always in style! I am also posting this on ttheir site's review's just in case someone decides to delete this!. If you're traveling out of the way to come to this place don't even bother, it's a true waste of time! I just can't seem to get over how rude she was to me, she seriously needs some business etiquette training...

Sometimes I go in because I need a specific item; more often I go in to see what's new since I was there last.

Regardless of my motive, I am never disappointed. Coming out each trip with a bag or two of great new clothes

that cost me far less than I would have spent at Marshall's or TJ Maxx...and best of all I stay so far from the malls!



The best part is the fellowship. A lot of laughter and catching up---and some good ole fashioned harmony in song.



Making those trips is a precious part of my Saturday routine.

As a preformer and being very active with local charities , i'm always attending benefits, fund raisers and social events. Aura has always come to my rescue when i needed that last minute outfit or odd/end. I have found something everytime i've gone, and exactly what i needed at reasonable prices and the specials are to die for if ur on a fixed income like some of us are.



She is always friendly perky and attentive to my needs when i'm there. Pat and I adore her and enjoy seeing her everytime we come in.

I've known this fantastic women for a few yrs now, she has always greeted me with a Big hug , smile and hello. She has helped me make some extra cash along the way taking in my unused items and i've found some great outfits along the way to help me out with my "special benefits" and "shows". This place is clean and friendly. Girl ..god has blessed you well keep up the good work ..we'll see u soon

A great consignment shop. Aura has transplanted her inspired self and an inventory of great clothes, shoes, etc. to Prospect much longer ago than I had realized. I missed her presence at the shop where she had formerly worked and was thrilled to find her again. Go to Aura's to buy; but go also to enjoy Aura's awesome presence.

This is what this site is for correct "My personal shopping experience?" My personal shopping experience was not all favorable. I didn't find much of a selection and I thought this stores pricing was high compared to others.

Have Known Aura for many years, she remains a beautiful person internally as well as externally.

She is one of those ladies that follows through with her tenacious spirit guiding her.

How wonderful it is in this day and age to have a willing and wonderful family that helped her realize

goal. Hats off to you Aura, you deserve all the success life has to offer. About the store, when I found

it, there it was as neat as pin, nicely decorated with the smell of fresh paint and newly cleaned floors.

No problem finding something current, the store is filled with them. Be prepared to be greeted by a Lady

i have been to this store many times,and your comment about the smell? it smelled like homemade soaps like lavender and orange blossem and chocolate, and by the way i purchased all of them , now unless your oscar the grouch from sesame street who lives in a garbage can ,,

i cant understand what you are smelling? and as far as the rip's in any of the clothes ? i have not seen that ever, and the prices are very resonable consittering that she gives more away for free than she sell's, you sound like somone from another consignment shop,who is bashing the compitition, and to me that stinks more than any other smell on this earth, i will continue to support this consignment shop even more now because you make it so famouse, being that i know the shop and love it! i can shurly say you are lieing, and must mean that all of the opposite is true,

and this shop i recommend to anyone looking for a smile and a nice place to purchase or consign clothing !!

sorry grandma ,,the truth hurt's

Having been a resale junky for many years, I was excited to see a new one opening close to me.

The first time I visited Auras , she was closed then I tried another day, to see AGAIN that it was closed when it should have been open this is frustrating but on another day she was finally there.

To be honest owner is friendly, but the store is smelly the clothes were out of style and there was a rip in a blouse that i found

Just because I am a grandma, I do not want to look as one.

The prices were ridicoulous for a thrift store and my entire visit was a waste.

Not wanting to insult, but to be honest, this is one shop that is not worth your time.

I was so happy to find a plus size consignment shop in my area. She has a large variety of clothes, shoes and handbags. You won't see youself coming and going if you purchase here. She has a beautiful line of jewelry that is designed by a local women and is exclusively sold to her shop. You will always be greeted with a smile. So if you are looking to make some $$ and have clothes hanging around don't throw them out bring them here. I did!

I came in during the grand opening in February. I was greeted with smiles and left with many thanks. Since then I have recommended a couple of my friends to consign at Aura's Plus Size Consignment and so far it has been a very pleasant experience for everyone. I will continue to recommend Aura'a Plus Size Consignment.

Having know the owner the past couple of years, She is very people friendly that always looks to help the "underdog". Now that she has her own business there is no restrictions on how she can help in the community. Her boutque is quite cozy and clean. I will continue to recommend friends to buy, consign, or just stop in to say Hi.

Couldn't be happier to have a place like this in Prospect. I go by it everyday and shop there with friends at least twice a week. The owner is wonderful, friendly, and makes you feel like family. Owner is so Bubbly and Friendly. I get a hug as I come in and s

he always ask me. How are you doing doll, makes me feel like I am special.

You can get great specials in there. Designer hand bags that would normally

cost you. 700.00 to 800.00 hundread bucks. she consigns them for 75 bucks

or so. So worth it. I love her and this store I will shop there as always.
