I've gone by last we got lost and up here.... We asked a lady who had a horse in her hand for directions to get on the road again she was pretty rude... We then asked just a question out of curiosity About riding and prices and information for my daughter so she can learn and try it out but no the lady rudely said that there was a weight limit and kept going. I was pretty offended.

Ok. I'll give it 4 stars only to encourage ppl to go there and support the horses. I've been to different stables in the area and what i don't like about this one is that horses don't look like they are being cared for very much. In spring they had scratches on their feet (as the trail is quite rocky and they can get hurt), bruises and sores on their faces under the harness - and the stuff did not even notice some of them. Now they are better, but still don't look too happy. They don't let you give treats to horses as they claim horses will become feisty. Well, happy horses don't bite to begin with - other places i've been to let hand feed the horses and there are no accidents. But after all, if you support the business - you will support the horses, maybe the owner will get a chance to hire more stuff or to improve the stables or the trails.

I strongly encourage anyone with a child over the age of 10 to anyone near the age of 100 to get out on the trail and enjoy the peice and quite of a ride on a horse. The serenity and tranquility of the trails linger on for the rest of the day. From the deer sightings to the turkeys running across the feilds, I truely had an amazing time! And thanks to the staff or B&R Riding Stables, I can ride with confidence and I feel very knowledgable about horses. Thank you so much B&R I had an amazing ride!
