Worst Japanese Restaurant where I've ever had the privilege to beg rude management for service, water and hot food... where our whole table of 6 customers were always wrong!

If you love sushi, stop looking elsewhere and go here ---- quick.

All over Louisville I have been trying to find great sushi, my search has come to an end. Hanabi Restaurant is without a doubt the best Sushi I have ever had. Along with my sushi, I enjoyed the Gyoza appetizer. It was acceptional! The staff was great, including the sushi chef Tian, who talked to me and was very friendly. Another server, whom I very much enjoyed talking to, was Brandon. Both of those gentlemen were accommodating and extremely friendly! Overall a great and satisfying experience, and I’m sure I will be going to Hanabi several times a month now! I recommend it to any sushi lover!

I've heard about Hanabi Japanese sushi bar and visited with my friend.



Wow, so beautiful interiors and elegant lightings grabbed my eyes.



Mr Wang and Si Wan who make a number one sushi welcomed us.



When I go to a new restaurant, I usually want the server recommend the best ones in the restaurant.



At Hanabi? Mango crunch roll and Chili roll were the ones.



Taste? Second to none. They melted on my tongue. My freind loved them, too.



Price was OK and its smiling waiter and waitress would leave my mind.



I strongly recommend Hanabi Restaurant. Go and enjoy the best sushi in Louisville!!

I think that Hanabi has excellent service and the food is wonderful. Hanabi has workers that actually care for the customers and try to entertain them instead of avoiding/ignoring them. I believe that their sushi is exceptional and the sushi chefs are very good at creating new rolls right on the spot. The japanese cuisine is to die for. The chicken teriaki and the udon are especially great! Also, there are very unique deserts such as mochi ice cream and tempura ice cream. Once you try it, it becomes addicting and you can't get it this good anywhere else!

Everything about the restaurant was great! Like the previous review, the sushi was amazing! It was very fresh, and all of the rolls that I had were delicious. I really liked the pieces also. At most places they seem to be a little skimpy on the cuts, but here you definitely get your money worth. Great atmosphere, and fun sushi chefs. I highly recommend it to any one looking for some good sushi.

The sushi here is to DIE for!!! I didn't think you could get fish so fresh in Kentucky. I always stayed away from sushi restaurants here but someone recommended this place to me and I was definitely skeptical. I can't wait to go back and such creative rolls - the mango roll and the monkey brain are soooo yummy! Service is even better. Highly recommend.
