Provided by YP.comI've been a customer at this 7-11 for about 8 years now and would stop in and get a soda for myself or a snack for myself and child on a regular basis in the summer since it is within walking distance to my house. My husband also using it on occasion for gas. Today, I had a very unpleasant experience with the manager/owner there. A candy bar was left out in front of the coffee station. I went and got myself a coffee and did not touch or disturb the candy bar in anyway. The manager came by with another customer at one point and refilled the vanilla creamers and must have seen the candy bar in front of me. I went up to pay for my coffee, leaving the candy bar where it was. The manager approaches me at the cash register and says harshly, "Did you put the candy bar back?" I, thinking at first that he was just yelling at me for leaving the candy bar out and just wanting to calm the situation down said, "No, I did not put it back, but if you'd like, I could put it back, even though I didn't have it out in the first place. It was there when I got my coffee." He then goes to the employee, "Don't let her leave until I check it is there." He went over to the coffee station and must have signaled to the employee to let me pay when he realized the candy bar was right where I said it was.
This was a completely inappropriate way to handle a suspected shoplifting incident. I used to work in retail and you are never supposed to outright accuse customers without checking video surveillance for cases just like this, where things are not what they appear. It was humiliating and rude and just aggravated anxiety and panic problems that I already have going out shopping. I will never shop there again.

Provided by YP.commost of the employees were respectful except for one person named Alex. He was one of those types of people that like to have the business but at the same time hates all of his costumers. he thinks they're all drug addicts and drinks. also all of his prices are the most expensive around the area. i used to go to the 7-eleven every morning to get coffee until one day i noticed that he has fired some of his best employees i haven't been there for now 5 months and will not be returning

Provided by YP.comThis store is not people friendly at all. The workers act like they would rather be somewhere else. I live very close to this store and bring them business constantly. I only asked that i be able to redeem my 7-eleven coupons. i understand this store is owned privately, but i think any good business person would understand that it would be an unfortunate loss to have a whole community frown on a selfish gas station owner. it was a simple request so now maybe people can realize how important it is to have a good relationship with the community.in business or not .........
would it be that bad to let me save $1 while i pay houndreds monthly for convieneances.
