When Abar Imaging Center opened its doors in 1955 it was the first color lab in New England and catered to photographers all over the country. By 1967 there were five full time employees and services included film processing and color prints as large as 16x20. Today Abar has 40 employees and provides a full range of photo finishing and digital imaging services at its 35,000 square foot facility. Services range from develop and print and digital camera reprints to scanning and enlargements to retail and tradeshow graphics and displays. Abar is located in Providence, R.I.
