Lifespan Concussion Care Center, a Lifespan Physician Group practice, uses a physiatry-based team approach to treat patients of all ages who have experienced concussions. Each concussion is as unique as the person recovering from it. Factors such as the type of impact, pre-existing conditions such as anxiety, headache, sleep disorders, or learning disabilities all may play a role in the effects of a concussion and in the patientâ??s recovery. Since concussion recovery is different for everyone, and can be complex, we offer a functional team approach to rehabilitation.
