Rhode Island Museum Of Science And Art
763 Westminster St, Providence, RI 02903
The Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art (RIMOSA) is where older kids, teens and adults can explore hands-on, open-ended exhibits and activities related to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math). At our museum in Providence the exhibits and activities change constantly -- visitors may create masterpieces with paint and centrifugal force via bicycle powered spin-art, produce stop-motion animations, build a marble roller coaster using found objects and more. RIMOSA also hosts adult programs, galleries, camps, field trips and birthday parties, and brings our hands-on programs to Rhode Islanders through offsite outreach programs. The Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art (RIMOSA) is where older kids, teens and adults can explore hands-on, open-ended exhibits and activities related to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math).
