The new management is horrible here. I have literally spent hundreds (maybe over 1,000) dollars at El Mexsal, but that was before the new management came. In addition, I've persuaded hundreds of dollars from family and friends to eat here as well. The food quality has rapidly deteriorated. Today the lights were off for 3/4 of the meal. They would come on for a couple minutes then off for 20 then on then off again. When I've been back the owner does not treat the patrons well. El Mexsal was in my top 2 favorite restaurants of all time, but after how I was treated I'll never return. I will also be telling my family and friends to never return too. We'll be finding a new lunch spot.

This restaurant reminds me of my land, Guatemala they serve Salvadorian cuisine but it is similar, my favorite is the chicken soup "caldo de pollo" it comes with the soup, the fry chicken and salad, it is delicious it tastes like the way my mom used to cook for me,

excellent place to eat and the price is right.
