Repair of two-line residential phone system

I was amazed by Von's knowledge and persistence. Our two phone lines were as though we had gremlins in the system. The light on line 1 remained lit all the time. Both lines had a hum that would not go away even when a call went through. Von also discovered why the intercom was not working. He repaired everything.
