After five years of developing a highly efficient film production approach, Mirror Films has become a major producer of high-quality feature films for the LDS market. Mirror Films recognizes the need for better stories within the LDS community and has developed a production model that makes it possible to produce films for a very modest budget, while at the same time offering high production value. The company plans to produce seven LDS-themed films by the end of 2012. Christian Vuissa founded Mirror Films as a film production company in 2003. A native of Austria, he graduated magna cum laude from BYU's Media Arts program in 2002. He received his MPA in 2008 from the George W. Romney Institute of Public Management of BYU's Marriott School of Business. He is also the founder and president of the LDS Film Festival. Christian is considered one of the most promising directors coming out of Utah and is best known for his visual storytelling and strong sense for cinematic detail. Carolyn Hart Bennett from ldsfilm.com recently stated that Christian "has done more to promote the LDS film community than just about anyone else."
