The hot dog was ice cold. It tasted like they pulled it straight out of the fridge. The new Habanero chicken is crazy hot and delicious.

I loved Sonic years ago. Remembering the footlong Coney Dogs smothered with chili, cheese & onions, I took a friend - who had never been to Sonic - for a "midnight snack" promising that it would be treat. We ordered a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, onion rings, a Coney Dog, cheese fries and fresh limes. The fresh limes were good but unfortunately the food fell short. The Cheesesteak was all bread - two large pieces of bread with a dollop of steak/onion/pepper/cheese mixture plopped in the middle. When I attempted to spread it out, there wasn't enough to cover the bread, even though it was thinly spread. There was a smidgen of chili on the Coney, no onions (we asked for extra) & the bun was cold. The onion rings were over cooked - dry & brittle. The cheese fries were made up of a few fries, not enough for a small let alone the medium that was ordered, and a warmed up (most likely microwaved) slice of processed American Cheese lay on top. Even though it didn't take us long to discover our most unfortunate dinner, no one would answer when we pressed the button. Finally after several attempts we got a recording saying they were closed - it was 11:50 pm, they were suppose to be open until midnight. This was particularly disappointing because I was in a rehab facility recovering from a serious injury and rarely got out. I hope that this is not the norm and was simply an isolated incident. However, it shouldn't matter whether it's 11:50 am or 11:50 pm, your customers deserve great food and great service.
