Provided by YP.comTotal Rip off...told me I have transmission issues and also that my engine was leaking. None of this was true. Took it to another repair shop only to find out nothing is wrong with my car but a simple wire was loose. I will never take anything to them again!!

Provided by YP.comI have went to Aamco for years and even have all my family take their cars there when they break down. But lately, the customer service had went down hill. And quite a bit for me to write a review on it.
My car broke down, and it was going to require that it be towed in. I later found out that the engine was seized, but only after having to take it to another shop because every time I called I was told that they were full for the day and to call back tomorrow. I repeatedly called, and talked to Sanford who kept assuring me that if I called back tomorrow they'd get it in.
After I got tired of hearing this and giving them way more chances then I should have (but I've been going there for years) I finally called midas. They had my car in their shop the same day, and had it diagnosed the next morning.
Aamco used to be an excellent garage, but they have become like any other chain mechanic or worse in the case of midas. They have lost mine and my friends/family's business which was quite a bit. Get it together Aamco!

Provided by YP.comThis was the absolute worst mechanic shop to stop by. You are better off using grass and twigs to fix your car than go to these people. We broke down on the 25 south, with a 2006 Acura RL. With the car stalling repeatedly, we pulled over and called a tow truck. The tow truck took us to these guys. We needed a simple diagnostic and it took them more than 6 hours to complete. Sanford, the owner, told us that he could not find anything wrong with the vehicle and presumed it was bad gasoline. He recommended that we should be fine to drive, but we should loop through Colorado springs, because if it makes it that far it shouldn't be a problem.
And here we are, broken down on the side of the road again, it's obviously not bad gas and something relating to the transmission, after talking to an ACTUAL ACURA MECHANIC.
This guy Sanford is now not answering our calls and knows we are stranded ONLY because of his advice. And his failure to actually do his job, or have his mechanics do their jobs.

Provided by YPmobileFinally mechanics we can trust! The dealership was going to charge us a grand$ saying that we needed to replace a part. Took it to AAMCO & they simply fixed the part for under $200! We have since continued to have all 3 family vehicle's serviced there always with solid & reasonably priced results! Its clear that the owner & mechanics actually care about the well being & satisfaction of their customers. Their work is always highest quality & customer service is premium. We are beyond grateful!
