Before you go, say you know the owner. Let me explain.

My daughter and I have been here before— the neighborhood is wonderful and the food is outstanding. But the service is terrible. We walked in around 11:15am on a Sunday. It was very busy— no problem, we gladly waited for a table. After ten minutes, we sat down at a table. 15 minutes later, I told someone, “Hey, we still haven’t seen a server yet.” A few minutes later, an apologizing server came to our table and took our order. We never saw her again. About this time, a wonderful couple came in and were seated. They talked to the owner and laughed with her. Apparently, they knew her. Five minutes later, they were served. After another 25 minutes, they were finishing up theirs delicious meal. I turned to my daughter (who was just about to cry from hunger) and said, “Let’s just go sweetheart.” It’s an hour and a half later, and I’m nearly certain that our food hasn’t arrived. In fact, I doubt they have even noticed were gone.

Don’t get me wrong, we’ll go here again— the food is great! We’ll just say we know the owner.
