Well I got my computer back from Geek Squad today... never going there again! Oh sure they removed the rabbit virus... for $200. But thats it. They didnt check to see if the virus deleted or corrupted any files, documents, programs, or if the computer would even run properly now. They DID NOT even bother to blow the damn dust off the tower. They also DID NOT attempt to restore anything despite having my backup drive with all my programs and stuff on it. And when asked why they didnt do it? The guy at the counter said, and I quote here "Lady, I just plug the damn things in and let the computers remove whatevers there. When the computer says its done I take it off and call to let you know its done. Thats what we are paid and told to do." Ive seen better customer service from the kids working the McDonalds counter! Oh and if you want your money back from their little gaurantee, GOOD LUCK! I was properly told while he chewed gum and sucked on a mountain dew that they dont do that unless you can prove it still has a virus... but the moment you take it out of the store and get it home to check thats void cause you cant prove you didnt get it from plugging it in at home... and they wont plug it in there to check cause they claim thats what they just did. Anyone else see the GIANT loop hole they use to get out of their "money back gaurantee" here? So I fight with what I have. Access to the internet. I am going to every site there is and pasting my lovely review on the services I was rendered. Want me to stop? FIX the problem. Sincerely, A very UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!
