Dr. Michael VanManen, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, has joined St. Mary-Corwin Physician Partners - Orthopedics.After graduating from Centennial High School, he attended Washington State University on a Division 1 football scholarship. He then spent nine years with the U.S. Navy where he completed a tour at the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms in the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center. He began as a staff orthopedic surgeon before becoming Chief of Surgery and Department Head of the Orthopedic/General Surgery department.Dr. VanManen believes he can continue to serve his country by providing expert orthopedic care in both arthroscopy and joint replacement for friends and neighbors in his hometown.
