Thank you, We took our dog to Nancy's paws and Claws to have our dog Amour groomed ,and nails trimmed. I wanted to say what a fantastic job the ladies did there. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family. I know that at home even bathing our dog is no easy task. And they did a fantastic job. And I will forever be a returning customer!!!!

Ok so I took my poodle to the groomer.Before anyone gets all judgmental on me please note that the groomer is by design supposed to have a certain level of knowledge/experience that the public does not. If in fact a groomer does NOT have the needed experience it has been my own past experience that the groomer send a person to another reputable business owner.Also GOOGLE is a wonderful search engine, should anyone need to see the names/details of a poodle cut. Look up Miami/summer cut, as did I.Easy concept right? LOL I was told it would take three hours. My appointment was at 11am.When I got there to pick up the dog I was a little bit early, I decided to wait. If the groomer had told me ahead of time that the customer is NOT allowed to watch or be near while the pet is there….Instead I was told after the fact that a customer is only welcome to watch the grooming of another dog not their own.The young lady taking care of my dog assured me she knew what the cut was & how to accomplish it. When I arrived she appeared to be meticulous about what she was doing with the top of the dog’s head. As I watched the dog stood up. I noticed then there was only 3 of 4 legs that had the standard poodle “pom-pom”. The lady continued to groom & even added the bows to each ear. She then stood and came to me as she was explaining that the poodle had “pulled” away causing the groomer to shave the pom-pom off! This lady was trying to hand me the dog with legs done! I insisted she shave the other back leg to make it match! The lady told me to wait a good 6 weeks then the legs could all 4 be matched in cut. Upon further inspection of my dog the following was discovered……The entire hind quarters was not shaved uniformly.The ears were not blended into the top of the head pom-pom.The shampoo that was used made her smell so bad & aggravated my own allergies so bad I could not hold her. I had to wash her bedding in her crate due to the smell.I then had to take her to another groomer to be bathed again. IRRONICALLY this groomer knew just where to send me to have a CORRECT MIAMI CUT done!!!!Needless to say…..I am unhappy about this. My intention is to say so! I will warn others to the practice of this business.If you as a business cannot handle a customer request, PLEASE just say so!!! I DID PAY MY BILL BUT DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO A POODLE OWNER LOOKING FOR A GROOMER.STAY AWAY FROM NANCYS PAWS ON 29TH STREET IN PUEBLO CO IF YOU OWN A POODLE!!!!
