The Utilities Administration Division works under the utilities department of Punta Gorda, Fla. It recognizes service responsibilities, formulates programs, sets goals and objectives and plans, organizes, directs and oversees the projects. The division offers management, technical and clerical support to other divisions. The Utilities Administration Division also coordinates the activities of the utilities department and works closely with various agencies to facilitate policies and programs for the department. It also works with several agricultural partners to improve agricultural practices. The division supports a management plan that provides an alternative to regulatory processes to maintain state water quality standards. The utilities department additionally operates water distribution and treatment and wastewater collection and treatment divisions.
