Thomas M Gallagher, DO
1021 Park Ave Ste 20, Quakertown, PA 18951
I am an adult endocrinologist with the St. Luke’s Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology. I received my medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. I completed my residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. I enjoy caring for patients with a wide variety of endocrine disorders and diabetes. Helping my patients to understand and feel comfortable with their conditions, results, and treatments is the most rewarding part of my job.
I am board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. I am a member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Additionally, I have published scholarly articles on barriers to genetic counseling and testing in patients with hereditary endocrinopathies as well as primary thyroid lymphoma. I have also presented posters on non-islet cell tumor hypoglycemia and Kennedy’s Disease and its associated endocrine abnormalities.
I joined the St. Luke’s Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2017 where I enjoy treating patients with diabetes as well as a wide range of endocrine diseases.
