When purchasing my wedding dress, the dress had a belt come with it... I wasn't the biggest fan of the belt, so we bought a new one to have sewn onto the dress. The final fitting when we drove another 6 hour round trip drive to get my dress, the belt was missing. When questioned about it, the girl who originally helped me on the visit I found my dress agreed with us that a belt was included, but the owner and another employee said no... Oh, did I mention that the owner also cut too much length off of my dress... When she was initially measuring me for length, I didn't have my shoes with me, because I wasn't planning on dress shopping... when she asked about shoes I said I was planning on wearing 2 1/2-3 inch heels... SHE MEASURED FOR 2.5 INCHES and marked it on my dress. When I returned for my first fitting, I brought my heels the dress came to my ankles and then she blamed me and said I didn't bring my shoes the first times. Never apologized or offer to give us some money back.

I bought my wedding dress online and that was a big nono!! It was 2 sizes too small!!!! There wasn't enough time for me to send it back or order a new dress. NEVER TRY TO SEND ANYTHING BACK OVERSEAS!

It was 2 weeks to my wedding, and I thought I was sunk. But my bridesmaid told me about getting her dress done at I Do. I called them, they got me in, and added a corset to my dress!

MY DRESS AND MY DAY WERE SAVED!!!!!

Yeah, it was a bit pricey, but it was totally WORTH IT!!!!!!!!

WOW! This business has the worst customer service in quincy, il. All associates have a poor attitude and treat customers with zero respect. Unfortunately, I had not been informed of the poor service prior to trusting this business with my dress. The owner, "Cherie" who also performs alterations, probably has the worst customer service of all! Alterations personnel claims to have experience, yet has messed up multiple dresses, including my own (and charges outrageously for them!). When associates were confronted about their mistakes with my dress, they found every reason they could to place the blame on other causes such as (the dress was not bought from here, some dresses just can't be made even, blah blah). I could go on and on about the multiple things that this business has done wrong, but I will sum it all up by stating to NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. It will likely go out of business soon because the owner clearly doesn't know how to run an effective business and treat customers with respect. If you would like to ruin your wedding day, prom experience, or any other occasion, this is the place to go! Otherwise, go to eight avenue in Quincy IL to get the best experience possible!!!!
