Located in Quincy, Ill., the second floor houses the department of utilities, engineering, information technologies, purchasing and planning and development offices, and inspections and police department. The city of Quincy provides various residential services, such as garbage, recycling, yard waste and tree limb collection, forestry services, mosquito abatement program, and water and sanitation services. Its planning and development department offers numerous programs for residents, including historic preservation, housing rehabilitation and developmental incentive programs. Additionally, the city s police department coordinates the more than 40 city neighborhood watch programs.
